And more desserts... Levain Bakery

Levain Bakery! I am so glad this place exists. The shop is so tiny you have to stand outside and eat. While losing feeling in my fingers as we ate last weekend, I looked at the pretty apartment across the street and decided I must live there one day. I honestly went home and looked up the apartment and found that the units are only for sale, no rentals. Guess I should start saving up!

That's about the size of the whole shop. The minute you open the door there's a blast of cookie smells. Yum.

Four cookie choices, $4 each: chocolate chip walnut, dark chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and dark chocolate peanut butter chip. Whichever one I get I always decide is my favorite, so I think I must really love them all equally.

So many melting peanut butter chips in this gooey cookie.

$4 may seem pricey for a cookie, but they are quite big and perfect for sharing! Three of us shared two cookies and a cup of milk. Although we'd also just had cake at Cafe Lalo. We eat a lot though, so I don't think we're typical examples.
