Braving the streets of Harlem for Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

Just kidding... sort of.
My roommate from boarding school is in town, and she also loves loves food. She suggested meeting for lunch at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que in Harlem, so for my last restaurant meal of 2010, I ventured up to Harlem. The subway ride was interesting. I didn't realize the 1 train extends above ground. That was pretty cool. When I arrived at 125th street I'm not gonna lie, I was a little afraid. There really weren't that many people milling about and the sky was kind of gray and ominous.

The interior-- nice and clean.

Sweet tea! Similar to iced tea in Asia/Europe that's been added w/ syrup. Still don't really understand why it's so hard to get that in the US. Packs of sugar do Not work in iced tea!

Chicken wings! Note my enthusiasm. The chicken was covered in really tasty sauce. Blue cheese dressing on the side.

The roommate's sis asked to be on the blog. Here she is! :)

Ribs with sides of mac & cheese, potato salad, and corn bread. I was a big fan of the potato salad. Just the right amount of vinegar and onions! The meat was so tender and satisfying. There was enough flavor that I didn't add any sauces to it.

Yum! Would definitely go here again. It was worth postponing my haircut appointment and racing over to Harlem for.
