DC: A Tipsy Brunch at Vinoteca

My friend suggested meeting for brunch at Vinoteca to enjoy eggs benedict (her favorite brunch dish too) and some drinks. The restaurant offers $5 mimosas, bellinis and kir royales, or unlimited cocktails for $10. With the bottomless order you have the choice of ordering a different drink each time.

The prices are reasonable (practically cheap), the drinks are strong and the food was great. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in DC!

The restaurant is in a town home and has some outdoor seating which would have been enjoyable if it wasn't for the 30+ celsius weather.

French Toast, $8. This was nice and fluffy and exactly how french toast should taste!

Eggs Benedict Vinoteca on gruyere toast, frisee salad with pulled pork and roasted garlic vinaigrette, $10. Gruyere is one of my favorite cheeses and the thick bread was a nice change from english muffin that usually comes with eggs benedict. The best part of this dish though was definitely the pulled pork in the salad. It was full of flavor and just the right amount to enhance the salad.
