The menu, handwritten on the wall.
The cashier told me the most popular order is the Arepa de Pabellon: shredded beef, beans, sweet plantains, and cheese ($7.50), so I got this and really did love it. The arepa was spongy and so strong in corn flavors that it reminded me of polenta. The beef was sweet, tender, and very flavorful.
