DC: Seafood Lunch at Chart House

And this post concludes my mid-month visit to DC. The posts are very spread out and I haven't been posting lately because I was busy packing/moving and stupidly leaving my beloved macbook at my old apartment. I picked it up yesterday and am happily back to blogging.

On my last day in DC Natalie's parents took me out to a lovely lunch in Old Town Alexandria. The food was great and we sat by the windows, enjoying a view of the pier and water.

Clam Chowder: Thick with lots of clams!

Spinach Salad: Natalie's sister got a vegetarian version of this with egg, radishes and mushrooms (without the bacon and bacon dressing).

Crab Cake Sandwich: The bun was so soft and there was a generous portion of flavorful crab cake.

Hot Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream: Tastes as amazing as it looks.
