Bangkok: Pad Thai at Black Canyon Coffee

While my mom and grandma shopped, my dad, sister and I walked around the mall to look for something to eat. Although there was a food court with many appealing options, it didn't look very clean and we worried about getting food poisoning. We later walked past this coffee shop and decided to sit down here instead.

Thai Iced Tea, 55 baht (USD 1.73). Because Thai iced tea is so sweet (the recipe includes condensed milk), I try not to have it very often. This one was very strong and delicious. Couldn't believe how cheap it was either!

Tom Yum Seafood Soup: This was as deathly spicy as it looks. I could only handle a few spoonfuls. It was certainly very tasty and had just the right amount of seafood and vegetables inside.

Pad Thai: Something I noticed after eating a ton of pad thai on this trip is that pad thai in Bangkok is generally on the moist side compared to the ones served in New York and Hong Kong. I liked it better this way.

I'm not sure where the shopping mall was, but there are several branches of Black Canyon Coffee around the city and also past security in the Bangkok International Airport. Prices at the airport's Black Canyon Coffee are marked up substantially compared to the location we visited, but it's still not very expensive.
