Superbowl Feast 2012

For the first time ever, I actually paid attention to the superbowl. I didn't think I would watch it after the 49ers sadly did not make it to the superbowl, but the 2 parties that I attended ended up being really fun and full of amazing food.

The best dish was tacos with ground turkey. So tasty!

Homemade cheese straws! I must get this recipe, but I'm afraid I'll make too much and eat too much of it if I do...

Pigs in a Blanket. Sausages & puff pastry really do complement each other beautifully. The perfect balance. I probably ate 6 of these in 5 minutes.

Homemade brownies with cream cheese filling. Yep, cream cheese really does make brownies even better than they already are.

Fresh strawberries.

All in all, a very successful superbowl celebration even though I only managed to consume half a brownie (I wanted at least 3) and spent the last part of the 2nd quarter in a cab heading uptown to another friend's party. The important part is that I feasted on all this healthy (strawberries) & unhealthy (everything else) goodness. Oh, and that I made it to my friend's apartment in time for Madonna's performance.
