As much as I loved the decor and big windows in the restaurant, I think I was more into the space than the food...
The beautiful and airy dining room on the second floor. The first floor has a bakery and some seating as well.
Pimento Cheese Steak Sandwich, $14.75: Piedmontese beef, pimento cheese, caramelized onions. This sandwich was huge and served with the most delicious big homemade-looking like crunchy potato chips.
Farmer's Breakfast, $13.25: Fried eggs, house-smoked bacon, hashbrowns, toast. I'd never seen hashbrowns like this, served in one square piece and not fried all around. Probably a healthier version of the typical brunch hashbrown.
Biscuit & Gravy, $12.50: Toasted buttermilk biscuit, poached eggs, sausage gravy. The best part about this dish was the biscuit. It was so buttery and flaky. Overall the dish was just okay though. I think next time I'd rather get a different entree (perhaps the shrimp & grits) and order a build-a-biscuit as a side instead.
When the yolk started dripping out.
Build-a-Biscuit ($3) -- with bacon (+$2) and scrambled eggs (+$3)
