DC: Wegmans and Natalie's Office

Natalie knows me so well. On Saturday afternoon when we were looking for things to do, she asked me if I'd ever been to the supermarket Wegmans. When I told her I hadn't, she said that she definitely wanted to take me to check it out. (She's probably one of my only friends who is like me in that we adore grocery shopping/wandering around anything food-related).

I'm so glad we went. Wegmans is amazing! It felt like a cross between Whole Foods, Target, and Costco.

Really high ceilings and so much space. (I've been in New York too long).

The seafood station.

Fresh lobsters with really cute notes like "kiss me, I'll turn into a prince." :)

Fruit tarts. My favorite thing ever.

Puff pastries.

We also stopped by Natalie's office, the Inter-American Development Bank. This girl's changing the world one day at a time.

Such a pretty office building! It used to be a hotel.

The beautiful skylit cafeteria. I want to work here just for this cafeteria.

  1. Um, since when are fruit tarts your favorite thing ever? Must have missed the memo on that...I thought it was pancakes, and eggs benedict, and cookies, and chocolate, and truffles...
