A Midtown West Brunch Potluck

My friend Sang just moved (down the street from her last apartment), and invited us over last week for a brunch potluck. I love these girls, and we had a great time at Ali's Upper West Side brunch last time, so I couldn't wait. I always look forward to Sang's brussel sprouts, but this time she over-delivered and surprised us with a homemade strawberry tart as well. Stunning AND delicious.

Oh, and I brought brie cheese and ciabatta rolls!

The gorgeous view from Sang's 30th floor flat:

The spread:

Sang's brussel sprouts & strawberry tart... She used this Martha Stewart recipe.

Sang even made ice cubes with blueberries, strawberries, and bits of sugar. Went great with the tea!

Then Linda and Sang made the smoked salmon and cream cheese frittata with this recipe.

Ta da! Final product:

Linda brought the salad with potatoes & string beans. She made a healthy dressing using olive oil, white wine vinegar, dijon mustard, anchovies, garlic, and thyme.

Dessert is always the best time of the meal...
Amazing.

Delicious food and great company... Doesn't get much better than that!
