Georgetown Cupcake Soho

Cupcakes! The one thing I can happily write about even while sick and nauseous at home. I was taking pictures of my sister for her blog a few weekends ago in Soho, and we happened to walk by the Georgetown Cupcake store. There are always long long lines outside the store in DC, and I'd been wanting to try this for a while, so we went in and I took my sweet time choosing the perfect cupcake. Good thing I have a patient sister.

Seating!  A novel idea for a cupcake shop. More dessert shops need this...

Chocolate Birthday Cupcake, $2.75

The cupcake was quite moist (more so than Magnolia Bakery's, which tends to be on the drier side, and  a little less moist than the cupcakes at Baked by Melissa. I loved the frosting, it was whipped to a fluffy texture. Yum.
