Photo Recap of Shias in Europe

I just returned to NYC last week after what turned out to be the best holiday of my life. Not entirely surprising, as all the right ingredients were there-- a week and half with my family, celebrating my parents' 30 year wedding anniversary with a roadtrip through France, Spain, and Portugal.

Upon arriving back in NYC last week, I've been getting over a cough, exhaustion from lack of sleep (we had to make the most of each day while on holiday), jet lag, and zombie-like sleeping hours. I finally feel more human again, and after loading all 753 photos from the trip onto my computer, I'm ready to plan another holiday.

Here's a brief photo diary of the trip:

En route from Andorra to Barcelona, with a backdrop of the Pyrenees mountains.

Before dinner in Marbella.

Delicious grilled octopus at La Boqueria in Barcelona.

The Alhambra in Granada. We spent 3 hours here and didn't even finish covering the grounds.

Sunset in Sevilla.

Breakfast pastries at the Sofitel in Lisbon.

Tapas in Madrid.

  1. Gorgeous photos Lauren, welcome back! Sucha fun trip.. I did a similar trip and covered 3 countries, but instead of Portugal, I went to Italy. A lot to absorb, but so fun!
Can't wait to see the rest of your posts.
Sevilla Sunset is gorgeous.. sucha romantic city.

    Happy Anniv. to your parents!

  2. Sounds like an amazing vacation! I loved the Alhambra.
