Starting off from Chinatown (with a breakfast of fresh coconut juice), we made our way down and over to the bridge.
So, so many people by 1pm, but it was still very enjoyable.
Turning around to enjoy the Manhattan skyline views.
After some preliminary research, I got very excited about visiting Siggy's Good Food in Brooklyn Heights. The restaurant is just a 10 minute walk from the bridge exit.
This salmon burger on a brioche bun ($11) is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Ever. Oh, and good news is, the restaurant has a Manhattan branch in NoHo now.
We then took a cab over to the Wythe Hotel, where I looked forward to checking out the rooftop, but too many people had the same idea, and we waited in line for 20 minutes before giving up.
And enjoyed some beers at Smorgasburg instead! The waterfront food market started back up earlier this month.
Truffle parmesan fries with lemon garlic aioli ($8) from the Home Frite stand. Deliciously crispy, but with a tad less truffle oil than I prefer.
A food-filled Saturday with good weather, views, and friends.
