As mentioned in my last blog post, my parents used to bring my sister and I to Macau pretty often for short vacations. Along with staying at the Westin, we also came to Fernando's every single time. It's been around for well over a decade, and is still very popular for its Portuguese/Macanese cuisine. Reservations are accepted on weekdays, but on weekends, get there by 11:30am to guarantee getting first seating! The location is a bit far-- 20-30 minutes from the ferry pier, but it's so worth it!

Bright and airy dining room. This is the second dining room located in the back of the restaurant. There is no air conditioning here, so it gets really hot in the summer. The fans only do so much.
Hot bread served with the best olive oil.
Sangria, HK$110 (US$14)
A nice refreshing beverage. A little sweet, but then again I did see the server pour Fanta in.
Salad, HK$116 (US$15)
One of the best simple salads ever. Year-round, Fernando's manages to serve deliciously fresh and plump tomatoes. This salad has romaine lettuce, tomato, and white onions, drizzled with olive oil.
Roast chicken, HK$186 (US$24)
Hands down the best roast chicken I've ever had. Unbelievably moist, crispy skin, and served over a bed of fries and green olives. My mouth is watering.
Sardines, HK$98 (US$13)
Salty and meaty. So much flavor, but it's always a lot of work to pick out all the little bones!
